Leaving Diablo Lake for Twisp on Mountain Loop Highway/State Route 20. 104 miles.
Stopping in Winthrop at a little cafe. I had fresh spring rolls. Jerry is not a fan of fake cowboy towns.
Behind the shops we found access to the Methow River.
We checked into our first Bed and Breakfast ever, the Methow Valley Inn. This is our room.
The view of the garden from our room.
For dinner, our host recommended the Twisp River Pub. It was two blocks away. We had a lovely dinner looking out over the river while a guitar player played. (I didn't bring a camera.)
After dinner, reading books on the porch.
The view from the porch.
Reading in a rocker. Tomorrow, more pictures of the Inn and we put some miles on!
