shoe storage - ikeaSo, it was New Years day and we had some friends and family back to the house for leftovers (remember we had just had Regan's big good-bye party.) Well, our friend, Joel, mentioned that he was going to Ikea in the morning. My mom said that there was a shoe rack I was "pining over." (Come on, Mom, a pin is not the same thing as pining...) But she was right, and so I gave Joel some cash to get the rack. My husband liked the darker color and I liked them all so it was fine with me. Joel faithfully brought this back to me the next day. I tried to put it together myself. It is 37 steps! So my husband had mercy on me and assembled it and had it up the next day. I love that it holds lots of shoes. It isn't much help for boots so I still have to work on that.
How big is it? This would be perfect in a walk in closet. I might have to snag one.
