Trip to DC

When my sister and I went to DC in March, I bought a few new items. Then I laid out all the clothed, on Polyvore of course! So here are the outfits I had planned for the trip.

Day 1, Sunday, flying outfit. The first out fit had to be comfy for flying on the plane cross country.

I was waiting for a day off of work to finally wear this pin. Well, I got that chance when my son Regan called. Regan is studying to be a missionary with YWAM (Youth With A Mission.) He is taking classes in the Montana YWAM base. He blogs about it here. So his whole group, three van loads, took a week to go to Salem, OR and do outreaches in Portland. The last day of the trip was a day off and Regan invited me to Portland to spend the day with him. Well, it was a four hour drive and I did it alone. I needed something comfy to wear for the trip so I wore this.

When I got to the mall where I was meeting Regan, he was late. I found this awesome restroom mirror at Macy's. I had to show you this dreamy lighting! As you can see, I switched to my pink scarf because it just seemed more seasonal. I did get a little shopping in at Ross while I waited and I have a couple of items to show you later from that trip.
