world atlas pages-my mom, twine-my dear husband

Thia is more of the decor from my son's good-bye and 20th birthday party. I used a bowl to trace the circles. I tried to find pages where the whole page was map and had very little in the way of a key. I folded them in half over the twine. But I would use yarn next time because it would be easier with which to work. I stuck it to the table with a big office clip and put a tag over the clip.

Let them eat cake

My 20 year old son Regan left on New Years Eve to study missionary work in Montana at the Youth With a Mission (YWAM) base. There is only one cake he likes, QFC's chocolate with raspberry filling. So for his good-bye party I recreated the cake topper I found on Pinterest. I went to JoAnne Fabrics and found the cut out letters. I taped them to thread tied to bamboo skewers.
